Story

When I first considered a career in insurance, it wasn’t passion that brought me to the door. My previous job was falling apart, and with it, a lot of my confidence. I needed a fresh start, and at the time, stability felt like the most I could hope for.

Growing up, my brother was my compass. In the moments where I felt lost or uncertain, he was the one who sat with me, helped me think things through, and quietly steered me toward better choices. He shaped the person I became more than he probably knows. So when I saw what he was building in insurance, not just a career, but a life of genuine purpose, where his work actually mattered to the people he served, something in me lit up. I didn’t just want to follow in his footsteps. I wanted to earn the right to walk the same path.

That desire has never left me. Because behind every policy is a real person, someone with a family they’d do anything to protect, a home they worked years to build, a future they’re quietly hoping for. I’ve come to understand that this work is about being there for people before life gets hard, so that when it does, they don’t have to face it alone. There is something deeply humbling about being trusted with that, about being the person someone turns to when the stakes are highest and the fear is most real.

What started as a search for stability has become something I never expected, a calling. I came into this industry looking for a lifeline, and instead I found a purpose. Every client I sit across from reminds me why I chose to stay, and every life I help protect is a quiet reminder that the best decisions we make aren’t always the ones we plan.

Sometimes, we stumble into the work we were always meant to do.
